Dogs In Distress Food Fund

We would like to thank all of you who supported the Dogs in Distress food fund in 2014! It was a great success and helped to feed a lot of their foster and unwanted dogs.

Hills and ourselves will be running the fund again in 2016! For every 2kg bag of Vet Essential dog food purchased Hills and South Dublin Vets will donate a bowl of dog food to Dogs in Distress.

A warm thank you again to all of you!

Christmas Care!

We hope you all have a very festive and fun season but we would like to remind you of the foods that are dangerous to all our pets. Please take care and do not leave any low lying decorations that could be eaten and cause stomach problems.

If you are cooking, with all the enticing smells it is bound to attract your furry friend in hope of a tasty morsel! Please do not leave food unattended and take care with mouldy food as well. Please find below a list of foodstuffs that can be toxic to our pets at this time of year!

  • Chocolate
  • Grapes
  • Dried Fruits- currants, sultanas and raisins i.e Pudding and mince pies!!
