Isla and Puppies – New Forever Homes

posted in: News 0

It’s been a whirlwind few months here with Isla and her puppies. From her initial stay through to the birth and raising of her pups, it’s safe to say we’ve had our hands full!

Thanks to the tireless care and attention of our dedicated nursing team here at South Dublin Vets, we are delighted to announce that all six healthy puppies and Isla herself have found wonderful and loving homes.

During their first few weeks of life here with us, the puppies were well socialised with people, received their first vaccines, were wormed and were microchipped. The littlest puppy also required supplemental feeding in her first few weeks of life, including night feedings and extra special care and attention. We also vaccinated, wormed, and de-flead Isla, as well as spaying her prior to finding her a new home.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the families and individuals who came forward to offer Isla and her puppies wonderful new homes. We wish them all the best and hope they pop in to visit us in the future!

Spaying and Neutering

Unfortunately, Isla’s story could have ended very differently, as do the stories of many dogs and cats in her situation. This is one of the reasons why neutering and spaying pets is so important, as well as helping to prevent many health issues later in their life.

To find out more about spaying or neutering your pet, don’t hesitate to contact us at either practice, or email us at pets@southdublinvets.ie.
